About Budapest
Did you know that Budapest is the only major city in the world who is the spa? In the area of the city, there are 32 spas, of which nine officially recognized medical spa, which supply the 123 thermal springs with mineral water! Budapest was created 1873rd , when the cities Buda and Obuda on the right, and Pest on the left bank of the Danube merged into the new capital of Hungary. About two million people live in the largest Hungarian town, which is the political, economic, transportation and cultural center.

Tour the building of the Hungarian Parliament. The complex, located next to the Pest bank of the Danube, is designed as a contrast to Buda castle on the opposite side of river. With 691 room, this is one of the largest parliament building in the world.
Stroll the Square hero whose construction began back in the 1896th year to celebrate the millennium of the state and that includes the monuments of the heroes of Hungarian history. Do not forget to visit the Basilica of St. Stephen, the largest and most important church in the town, which is dedicated to the first Hungarian king, István.
The main shopping street in the city center, Vaci street, full of elegant boutiques. Also downtown, at the edge of the former ghetto, there is a large synagogue, which, after New York's largest Jewish synagogue worship in the world.
Climate
Although in May and June, known to be very rainy, spring is beautiful in Hungary. Summers are usually warm, sunny and unusually long. Autumn is beautiful, especially in the hills around Budapest and in the mountains in the north. The winters are cold and often icy.

Budapest is famous for its colorful festivals. Stores usually work from 10 to 18 h. Large shopping centers are working longer. Around Budapest there are many small shops that operate non-stop.
Banks are open from 8 am to 17 pm, a post office from 8 to 19 h.
Leaving a tip is a common phenomenon in Hungary. Polite to leave a tip of 10% of the bill, but only if you are satisfied with the service.
Statistics show that 1.5 lives in Budapest dog per capita. So, be careful where tread!
Beware of attractive girls in Vaci street, which is presented as foreigners and trying to call for a drink financially exploit gullible tourists.
